Where we are going We imagine communities where people with diverse abilities feel connected, welcomed, and supported through everyday creativity. Stride4ward is working to make art, expression, immersive experiences and shared experiences more accessible in the places families already live, gather, and belong. Together, we’re building a community where everyone has opportunities to express themselves and feel included.

Our Vision

Stride4ward is a nonprofit social-impact, social-enterprise organization rooted in community care. We bring creativity, connection, and meaningful experiences to individuals with diverse abilities, offering everyday outlets through art, poetry, and expression through immersive experiences.

We’re here to create inclusive environments where people feel valued, supported, and free to explore who they are through creativity and community.

Our values - who we are

Learn More

Stride4ward grew out of a deeply personal place and a lifetime of love, learning, and shared experiences with my 50-year-old brother, who has Down syndrome. His joy, resilience, and creative spirit shaped the heart of this organization. Today, Stride4ward turns those values into action by offering inclusive programs in art, poetry, immersive experiences, and community connection. Our story is one of family, belonging, and the belief that everyone deserves meaningful outlets to shine.

Support goes beyond any one place it lives in the heart of the community. We work alongside families, caregivers, and group homes to create inclusive, creative experiences that help individuals with diverse abilities feel connected and supported.
